Thank you for shopping at Electromartug. This policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the shipping and delivery of your orders within Uganda.
 
1. Order Processing Times
  • Standard Processing: All orders are processed within 24 hours of payment confirmation during business days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EAT).
  • Weekend/Holiday Orders: Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday, or public holidays will be processed on the next available business day.
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email or SMS notification once your order has been processed and is ready for dispatch. 
 
2. Delivery Locations and Zones
We offer nationwide delivery across all 136 districts of Uganda. Delivery is categorized into two main zones: 
  • Zone A (Greater Kampala): Includes Kampala City, Entebbe, Wakiso, and Mukono.
  • Zone B (Upcountry): All other districts outside Greater Kampala.
 
3. Estimated Delivery Times
Delivery timelines are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. 
  • Greater Kampala: 1 – 2 business days.
  • Upcountry Cities (e.g., Mbarara, Gulu, Jinja, Mbale): 2 – 4 business days.
  • Remote/Rural Areas: 3 – 7 business days.
 
4. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the items and the delivery destination. 
  • Free Shipping: We offer free delivery for orders above 500,000 UGX within Greater Kampala.
  • Standard Rates: Flat rates may apply for specific weight brackets for upcountry deliveries. 
 
5. Delivery Methods
  • Door-to-Door Delivery: Available for residential and office addresses in major towns.
  • Pick-up Stations: You may choose to collect your order from designated partner hubs or bus terminals for upcountry orders to save on costs.
  • In-Store Pickup: Customers can opt for free "Click and Collect" at our physical warehouse in Kampala. 
 
6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order is dispatched, we will provide a tracking number or a direct contact for the courier assigned to your delivery. You can monitor your package’s journey through our Order Tracking Page. 
 
7. Inspection and Acceptance
In accordance with the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act, you have a right to a reasonable opportunity to examine the goods upon delivery. 
  • Please inspect the package for any visible damage before signing the delivery note.
  • If the item is damaged or does not conform to your order, you may reject the delivery and contact us immediately.
 
8. Delivery Issues and Delays
  • Failed Delivery Attempts: If you are unavailable, our courier will attempt delivery twice. After two failed attempts, the package will be returned to our central hub, and a re-delivery fee may apply.
  • Unexpected Delays: While we strive for timely delivery, factors like extreme weather, road closures, or public holidays may cause delays. We will notify you of any significant disruptions.
  • Risk of Loss: The risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you upon successful delivery to the address provided.
