These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of electromartug.com (the “Site”) and any order placed with Electromart UG (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or create an account on the Site. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity under your account. Please provide accurate and current information and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts used fraudulently or in violation of these Terms.
3. Products and Pricing
All prices are listed in Uganda Shillings (UGX) and are subject to change without notice. Product images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the item delivered. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical, technical, or pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund, even if the order has been confirmed.
4. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. A contract is formed only once we confirm your order — confirmation of payment alone does not guarantee order acceptance. We may cancel or decline an order due to stock unavailability, a pricing error as described above, or suspected fraudulent activity. Where payment has already been received for a cancelled order, we will issue a full refund.
5. Payment
Payment methods and terms are set out in our Payments Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6. Delivery
Delivery areas, timeframes, and options are set out in our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which forms part of these Terms. We currently deliver nationwide in Uganda and can arrange international/diaspora deliveries on a case-by-case basis — contact us before ordering if you need delivery outside Uganda.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty
Returns and refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund & Returns Policy. Manufacturer warranty coverage is described in our Warranty Policy. Both form part of these Terms.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to place fraudulent orders, misrepresent your identity, interfere with the Site’s normal operation, or otherwise breach applicable Ugandan law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Ugandan law, Electromart UG’s liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Site or a purchase made through it, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
If a dispute arises, please contact us first by WhatsApp or phone at +256 759 988005, or by email at support@electromartug.com, so we can try to resolve it directly. These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and any dispute not resolved informally is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
