- Email address, where provided at checkout or account creation

- Usage data such as pages viewed, time on site, and referring pages, collected via Google Analytics / Google Site Kit
- Device and browser information, IP address, and general location, collected via standard web analytics and Meta/Facebook Pixel where applicable

We use personal information to: process and fulfil orders; provide customer support, including warranty and return requests; send order confirmations and delivery updates; send marketing communications you have opted into (you may opt out at any time); analyse and improve the Site’s performance and content; and detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the Site.

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for core site functionality, analytics (Google Analytics / Google Site Kit), and advertising (Meta/Facebook Pixel). - With Pesapal, our payment service provider, to process card and mobile money payments
- With delivery and courier partners, to fulfil and deliver orders

We do not sell personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including order fulfilment, warranty and returns handling, tax and accounting record-keeping, and, where applicable, for as long as your account remains active.

Under Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and to object to or withdraw consent for marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at, and does not knowingly collect personal information from, persons under the age of 18. Accounts and purchases are restricted to individuals aged 18 and over.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Payment card and mobile money details are processed directly by Pesapal through its own secure systems; Electromart UG does not store full payment card numbers.
9. International and Diaspora Orders
Where an order is placed from outside Uganda or for delivery outside Uganda, limited personal information may be processed or shared with delivery, customs, or logistics partners as necessary to complete that order.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
